A no-BS guide to wearing oversized tees and hoodies without looking like you're drowning in your own clothes.
Oversized is the streetwear default — but there's a difference between intentional and accidental.
The shoulder seam test
Your shoulder seam should fall 2-3 inches off your actual shoulder. More than that and it looks like a hand-me-down. Less and it's just a regular tee.
Balance the silhouette
Oversized top? Slimmer bottom. Loose bottom? Fitted (or just less loose) top. The eye needs an anchor.
Length matters
The hem of an oversized tee should hit mid-thigh. Hoodies can go longer — covering the wallet pocket on your jeans is the move.
